Pine & Willow Summer dolls are such a joy! Individually made from cotton, linen, and wool, these dolls are made for tea parties, lawn games, and gardening fun. Each one is handmade using a self-drafted pattern. The deep skin tone is in a soft cotton fleece, while the other skin tones are made from linen and linen-cotton fabric. Each doll is made with wool hair, either yarn that can be braided, or wool roving that can be styled into two buns or two braids.
The doll’s faces are left intentionally simple, just embroidered eyes and a small smile. You can add freckles if you’d like! Their summer frocks are made of cotton fabric and feature green plaid with garden-themed florals.
Their undergarments are simple, sweet little linen bloomers, dyed a dusty pink from avocados.
While they are handmade, heirloom pieces, they’re meant to be loved on and played with. Their bodies are stuffed enough to be sturdy, but also soft enough to be cuddled. As each doll is made-to-order, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.
Each doll is machine-sewn in our Puget Sound home and hand-finished. These are not factory-made, nor do I intend them to be. The beauty is in their uniqueness. The finished dolls pictured are from Fall-Winter and are pictured as a reference for the Summer Collection. Your doll will carry similar features, but will be uniquely herself, just like the little one who will treasure her.
